The EMTEX Educational Resource Centre hosts all
the latest CAD/CAM equipment along with a manufacturing unit filled
with all the industrial machinery required to make up any textile
product. The Centre is open for teacher training, bureau work for
schools and Industry/ pupil workshops.
Our courses can be tailor made to suit individuals'
abilities, requirements and age. Many teachers taking this opportunity
for their textiles groups to make up their final textile products
in one day!!!.We have also put together a number of new workshops
such as 'make a shoe', pattern adaptation, applied design, smart textiles
and many more, for more information about these particular workshops

The cost for a group of students to visit the Centre
for a one full day textiles workshop is £250 (maximum number
of pupils 15). If your class is larger than 15 we are able to run
2 separate sessions and alternate the group over the day, there would
be an extra cost of £50 made to the school and the maximum number
of pupils we could accommodate is 20. The new workshops on offer range
from £250/£300 with some at a fixed cost of £300
due to the additional materials required, again for more details call
